310/310S Buttweld Fittings consist of 24–26% chrome and 19–22% nickel, providing them with superior resistance to heat and oxidation. The 310S grade contains less carbon content (≤0.08%) for better weldability and minimizing sensitization risk. These fittings have tensile strength of approximately 520 MPa, yield strength close to 205 MPa, and an elongation of 40%. They retain strength and integrity up to temperatures of 1150°C in continuous service. Their superior creep resistance and toughness make them particularly suitable for extreme temperature and oxidizing conditions.
