Inconel 718 Pipe Fittings consist of nickel (50–55%), chromium (17–21%), molybdenum (2.8–3.3%), and niobium (4.75–5.5%), while the remainder contains traces of iron, titanium, aluminum, and cobalt. This advanced alloy possesses superior oxidation and corrosion resistance when used in high-temperature applications. Inconel 718 has a tensile strength of 965 MPa, yield strength of 550 MPa, and excellent creep resistance up to 700°C. The material has a hardness value of about 250 HB and also shows excellent fatigue, stress rupture, and fracture toughness, thus being perfectly suitable for high-pressure, high-stress applications.
