Carbon Steel A234 WPB Pipe Fittings are composed of carbon (≤0.30%), manganese (0.50–1.20%), phosphorus (≤0.035%), sulphur (≤0.040%), and silicon (≤0.40%). They are made from killed carbon steel. With a minimum yield strength of 240 MPa and tensile strengths between 415 and 485 MPa, these fittings provide exceptional mechanical strength. Both moderate and high temperatures can be used with them. WPB fittings are perfect for pressurised systems because of their excellent ductility, weldability, and resistance to mechanical stress. Normalising and quenching are examples of heat treatment procedures that improve their structural stability and toughness.

In industrial piping systems, carbon steel A234 WPB pipe fittings are widely used to transport fluids under temperature and pressure changes. Water treatment facilities, power plants, chemical processing facilities, and oil and gas pipelines are examples of common applications. In high-stress situations, these fittings are essential for joining, stopping, or rerouting pipe runs. They are appropriate for both above-ground and underground installations due to their strength and weldability. Boiler manufacturing, refinery operations, and shipbuilding also use A234 WPB fittings. Long service life and dependable system performance are guaranteed by their capacity to withstand corrosive and hot conditions.
