Inconel 718 Forged Fittings consist mainly of nickel (50–55%) and chromium (17–21%), with major additions of molybdenum (2.8–3.3%), niobium (4.75–5.5%), and iron (balance). Titanium and aluminum are present in small amounts to promote precipitation hardening. These fittings provide superior tensile strength (up to 1241 MPa) and yield strength (~1034 MPa), together with high fatigue resistance, creep resistance, and stability towards oxidation. With the ability to work at temperatures of up to 700°C, Inconel 718 is stable mechanically under stress, and thus it finds application in extreme and critical areas.
