Alloy Steel WP22 Buttweld Fittings consist of 2.25% Chromium and 1% Molybdenum, along with limited contents of carbon, manganese, silicon, phosphorus, and sulfur. This alloy provides improvement in creep strength, oxidation resistance, and resistance at high temperatures. Mechanically, WP22 fittings have a minimum tensile strength of 415 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and a minimum of 30% elongation, making them tough at severe pressure and thermal stresses. Due to their superior resistance to thermal fatigue, corrosion, and wear, they are extremely well suited for critical service conditions in harsh industrial processes.
