UNS S32750 is a super duplex nitrogen-strengthened stainless steel containing ~25–26% chromium, ~3–4% molybdenum, ~6–8% nickel, and ~0.2–0.3% nitrogen, together with manganese, silicon, and copper. The composition yields a ~50/50 austenitic-ferritic microstructure. Mechanical properties are yield strength ~70 ksi (480 MPa), tensile strength ~92 ksi (635 MPa), and elongation ~20%. It provides superior corrosion resistance (PREN ~39), good toughness, and fatigue strength. UNS S32750‘s strong metallurgy resists pitting by chlorides, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking while retaining mechanical strength at elevated temperatures.
