Nickel Alloy 200 (UNS N02200) is a commercially pure nickel alloy with about 99% nickel and trace amounts of iron, copper, and manganese. It provides excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in alkaline and weakly acidic conditions, and maintains strong mechanical strength and ductility over a broad temperature range. Its mechanical properties are tensile strength of 70–90 ksi (483–621 MPa), yield strength of 30–50 ksi (207–345 MPa), and elongation of 35–50%. It also has excellent weldability, thermal conductivity, and oxidation resistancerendering it an ideal choice for severe industrial uses.
